These are the colour photographs reproduced in black and white in the article which forms part of our special Digital Photography section in Eureka 46.
The attractive view of St Albans Abbey and Verulamium lake (above)
became this pleasing picture when the intrusive ice cream van (right)
was cloned out.
Shadows make a natural frame for the jogger and her dog.
Don't have the main subject centred. Position it a third of the way
from the edge and facing into the larger area of the picture.
The diagonally placed statues lead the eye towards the building.
