A new package for all users of CD-ROM on Acorn Computers

SmartCD+ is a package for all CD-ROM users who wish to play audio CD's with sophisticated control from their Archimedes or Risc PC computers (requires RISC OS 3.10 or later).

Quite simply, SmartCD+ will remember the title, track names and preferred playlists of all your audio CD's and whenever you insert a disc into the CD-ROM drive it will automatically detect which audio CD it is.

SmartCD+ is the new commercial version of the highly acclaimed CD player application written by Ian Giblin. A demo version which will only handle five CDs is available from the club web site.

You can choose the tracks you wish to play from the list displayed on the screen, or program a sequence of tracks into Smart CD's memory. It stores the title of each CD, the track names and preffered playlists for all of your audio CD's. Facilities are included for splitting a CD across two sides of an audio cassette, and Smart CD+ even allows you to generate inlay cards quickly and easily. Smart CD+ has a comprehensive range of features to rival even the most expensive CD player but remains easy-to-use!
